To improve quality and optimize material usage, the client requests a solution for the automatic correction of the position of aluminum coils to avoid and correct alignment errors of the coils.

Coapsys designs, installs, and commissions an alignment system using two closed loops with laser detection and automatic error correction. The system allows for operation with two coils simultaneously and has two in standby for coil loading operations.

The entire system is controlled by a PLC and is intuitively parameterized using a high-resolution color touchscreen.
